Phase One have today (17 December 2015) released a service update for their latest version of the Capture One Pro raw converter software. This is mostly a bug fix release, most notably to address the memory leakage when working with Canon cameras and several other bugs that caused the software to crash.

As well as resolving the issue with tethered Canon cameras it should fix, amongst others, depending on whether using Mac or Windows' version:

  • Watermarking when printing
  • Installing Visual C++ 2015 distributables
  • Curve tool issues
  • Local adjustment selection
  • Wrong ange on skin tone slider
  • Crashes when removing keywords and other keyword issues
  • Histogram red cross and crash
  • Importer crashes
  • Style crashes when saving
  • XMP synchronisation
  • cursor tool keyboard shortcuts
  • Spot tool issues
  • Crash when stressing thumbnail browser
  • Other stability  and other performance improvements
